Tonight at the Whittier Community Theater, Joseph Dzidrums, President of the Leffingwell PTA, announced the 3rd place winner in the Visual Arts Primary Level for the Whittier-Pico Rivera Council PTA. First grader, Ava Marcher was honored by Council President, Jessica Yneges, who presented her with a medal and certificate from the California State Assembly for her achievement in visual arts! Ava was cheered on by her parents and her teacher, Mrs. Bruckner.
